Stop and stare
I think I’m moving but I go nowhere
Yeah I know that everyone gets scared
But I’ve become what I can’t be, oh
Literally.
There is a big difference between 6:30 AM and 7:00AM.
Last Friday, my first day of “work”, I left my home at 6:30AM. I rode a bus and a jeepney to Eastwood. I got at the workplace too early.
This morning, my second day of “work”, I left my home at 7:00AM. I rode a bus and a jeepney to Eastwood. I was late.
The difference was the volume of the commuters and the traffic flow after Timog Avenue. Last Friday, I got a bus with a lot of vacant seats and the traffic was fine along EDSA to Cubao. But this morning, wooh, around five busses that passed me got standing passengers. I decided to ride a bus because of what I experienced taking MRT to Cubao station. Most train passengers, I think, are heading to Ortigas or Ayala, so I got a very difficult time getting out of the train on Cubao station. The bus’ movement went fine until it came after Timog Avenue. The vehicles were stuck (I feel for almost a month). I was helpless. I only did was to stare by the bus’ window and amuse myself with my music player. But inside of me, I wanted to fly to go to my destination. Wooh, It’s Monday today…
Anyway, I won’t be late again because I know what time to go.
