Quirks

Since I am not tagging anyone (yes, I’m breaking the chain), I’ll just cross-out a few instructions.

Here are the instructions:
1. Link to the person(s) who tagged you
2. Mention these rules on your blog
3. List 6 unspectacular quirks of yours
4. Tag 6 bloggers by linking to them
5. Leave a comment on each of the tagged bloggers’ blogs letting them know they’ve been tagged

I’ve been tagged by Tina. And this was a very late response from her tag. :D Anyway, here’s the six of my unspectacular quirks (actually, I have no idea what to put here):

  1. I usually, and unintentionally, mumble when I speak with not-so-close people. They usually ask me to repeat what I have said. And sometimes, I got shy to repeat what I said ending up to just ignoring what I have said.
  2. I can’t help to sing just a single line of a song (e.g. an LSS). Yes, just a single line. Sometimes, when I sang it a little louder and someone heard it, they will wonder, laugh, or ask me to continue, but most of the time, I just sang it because that’s the only line I know. I swear.
  3. I let my nails on my pinkies grow (and sometimes bite it, gross). But I cut eventually when it is destructing especially when writing.  Hmmm… the longest so far is about three quarters of a centimeter, I think.
I have to pause and think of more…
  4. Uhm… I ran out of ideas (as usual). :)
I’ll continue this next time. :D
    [Continued: July 05, 2008 1:35AM]
  5. Occasionally, I just smile for just no reason. Maybe it’s just a way for me to kill boredom, conceal facial expression, etc.
    Still can’t think…
  6. It’s hard for me to say ‘no’ (okay, this is not a behavior) especially when someone asks me a favor. I just feel that I really need to do the favor for that person. :D

Whew.

Tardy + 2

The following working day ( June 18 ) after my sick leave, I was late. Again, I didn’t anticipate the traffic (ok, don’t blame the traffic). I still don’t have my full strength to run (haha) to make it on time.

The following the day (June 19), I managed to arrive on time (about two minutes before 8:30am, as far as I remember) by riding a taxi, haha. That time, I was worried to become late again because only a few minutes left and, oh no, where is the U-turn slot. Panicked. We passed by the Eastwood area. Where is the U-turn slot?! Haha, a few blocks more. I remembered the documentary or report (I can’t remember the show) about the efficiency of the current strategy of the MMDA for the U-turn slots (i.e. gas consumption, traffic flow, etc.). Grrrr. Anyway, thank God, I wasn’t late that day. How about the following days?

Hmmmm… I know last Tuesday I got one again. Huhuhu.

My First Official Overtime

When: June 23, 2008

My first official overtime! Yey! :(
Ok. I don’t want to elaborate on what I did during that overtime but you are guaranteed that overtime is work-related, haha. And, it was also followed by another overtime the following night (June 24).

I was on my way home here. (June 25, 1am)

The (Semi-) Batch Lunch Out

When: Friday, June 20, 2008
Where: KFC, Eastwood City

Another semi-batch bonding activity. “Semi” because, again, the batch wasn’t complete that time. As I remember, only the SE people were there. So you may say “The SE May 2008 Batch Lunch Out”? No, because I know a few from SE were unable to join us. Anyway, this was just another way to better know each of our batchmates. It was fun to occupy a long table instead on the usual annex building.

first lunch out

Sorry for the very imformal image (a messed up table). We were done with our lunch here. Again, we still don’t have a batch picture.

Sick Leave

Yeah, the Über long weekend (weekend + Monday) ay may sakit ako. And today, naka-sick leave ako. Kaya tuloy nag-pile up na tuloy sa isip ko yung mga ipo-post ko dito. At syempre bukas, kailangan ko ng pumasok. Lagot na kasi ako. :(

Ciao, I have to rest pa.
Abangan nyo na lang yung posts this weekend next time.

Remarks: Tardy

Hahahaha, may late ako…

Nung May 26, time-in ko daw ay 8:34am. :) ) Lagot kasi last Wednesday at kahapon late ako, 8:31am and 8:41am respectively.

And I blame the reason na late akong nakauwi at nakatulog (malamang) that times…
May 25 (Su): Hmm.. family dinner :D
June 4 (W): Hahaha, nawalan ako ng buffer sa pagpasok. Ayun, naabutan ng traffic to Cubao.
June 5 (Th): :D Dahil mga 2am (June 5) na ako nakatulog kasi late nakauwi after watching Narnia.

And another thing.
I am super delayed na sa task ko.. :( (
Isang linggong walang progress. Helpless.

Last Wednesday

We were dismissed from our C Training last Wednesday earlier, I think before 6pm, compared to other days we spent from the training. Just like today, I left the training area around 6:30pm. Anyway, last Wednesday, I was really excited to go home early. The sun was still up, but someone said that it’s because of summer solstice daw. :D Back to my story, I was eager to go home early to be able to sleep earlier cause I usually get five to six hours of sleep which makes me sleepy the next morning. But they [colleages] asked me to join them to watch “The Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian”. :) Madali naman akong napilit. Hay… :) It was just 6:30pm then when we finished our merienda then we decided to go the cinema to buy tickets. Unfortunately, the next screening schedule was 7:50pm. “Okay, I will go home late tonight.” :D

It seemed like a semi-batch bonding activity. We occupied a single row plus two extra seats. My long lost relative (joke), Olyn, and I were the ones who were “voted off” :) ) to sit separated from the gang. Anyway, it was just fine. Kulet din nga mga kasama ko sa taas (they were seated at the top row). Everyone were giggling, sometimes laugh, nag-co-comment kasi sila sometimes on some things or scenes. :)

I can’t say more about the movie. It’s worth watching.
Aslan! :p

And because of this event [watching a movie], I would like to watch tuloy “The Happening” and “Maid of Honour” (because they showed these trailers first before showing the main attraction). Also “Kung Fu Panda” but I have no alloted budget for that right now. :(
