KDOND Season 3 Episode 1

‘Kapamilya, Deal Or No Deal’!

- Kris

I just got home from overtime today. I went immediately to my PC to search for KDOND’s first episode for this season. And I just got very excited! I’m a little bit disappointed because I would enjoy more if I could watch this on a HDTV (of fine, a CRT TV would do) and a loud volume :D compared to this low resolution uploaded video. And also my family are sleeping right now so I can’t make the sound more louder.

Anyway, I got excited because the set got more visually appealing. :D Good job! The new circular stage, the new backdrop (love it), the new model walk/dance theme, the new (and more okay) money board. But the ‘Parokya ni Banker’, I think, was inappropriate. Maybe they will fit if they were on ‘The Singing Bee’.

A Little Too Late

A little too late for this:

:D

…but on Monday we’re very very excited dahil ang paborito nyo po magbabalik na. On Monday, see you sa pagbabalik ng ‘Kapamilya, Deal Or No Deal’!

‘Realize’ by John Nathaniel

If you just realize what I just realized
Then we’d be perfect for each other
And we’d never find another
Just realize what I just realized
We’d never have to wonder…

Just heard this on the radio last week.
No, this is not David Cook. For me, Cook has stronger voice than this one.
But I really like this version.

Love the violin. :D

My Friendster Horoscope for July 26, 2008

Cancer
Cancer (Jun 22 – Jul 22)

The Bottom Line
People are going to be more receptive to your ideas, today — so it’s time to talk.

In Detail
You have a lot of good things to say about a current issue that’s been brewing within your social circle, and the people around you are going to be more receptive to hearing them than they might have been in the past. Disagreements or differences of opinions are not going to get anyone too hot under the collar right now, so it’s the perfect time to tackle a touchy subject and put it to rest, once and for all. Resolutions are coming and this is the start of a very peaceful time.

Positive. :D
Pasensya na kung puro horoscope ang posts ko recently, kasi parang totoo eh. :p

Anyway, later this afternoon, ako ay papasok.
So, this is my very first OT on a weekend.
Sad nga lang dahil napaaga yung paggising ko today.

My Friendster Horoscope for July 23, 2008

Cancer
Cancer (Jun 22 – Jul 22)

The Bottom Line
Friction with one of your authority figures is not wise today — just keep smiling!

In Detail
Today, one of the authority figures in your life will be all about micromanagement. That whirring sound you hear over your left shoulder? That’s them, hovering over you and watching you work. Instead of letting their sudden interest create friction, take it as a sign that they see you as a force to be reckoned with — and possibly even a threat to their position. You are one sharp cookie, and they know it. But there’s no need to feel intimidated by them. Stay as friendly as ever.

Kapamilya Deal Or No Deal TV Promos

Found these stuff on YouTube.
The TV Promos for KDOND Season 3.

And for Season 1. (Ngayon ko lang ‘to nakita.)

Random Thoughts

Bangag lang.

  • Alam ko, marami akong i-po-post dapat dito. Kaso, nakalimutan ko na yung details ng ibang topic.
  • Ang last movie na napanood ko ay ‘Hancock’. Say “good job” and the name “Thickness”. :D
  • Naging instant Keane fan ako this week.
  • Wala din akong matinong tulog this week.
  • Late ako nung Monday, 2 minutes; kanina, 17 seconds (nakakainis, ayaw mareconize yung fingerprint ko).
  • Kapamilya Deal or No Deal Season 3 sa Monday, July 28 na.
  • Badly wants a Siglo lanyard. Kanino ba ako pwede magpabili?
  • Naniniwala na nang 80% sa Horoscope. Recently kasi puro work-related ang horoscopes ko. :D And it really happens to me.
  • Malapit na ako magkaroon ng feathers. Last night, dinner KFC; breakfast, adobong manok; lunch, Famous Bowl (KFC); dinner Chicken Karaage (Tokyo-Tokyo). Pag dating ko sa bahay kanina, may left over pa nung adobong manok, hehe.
D

Ok, fine twenty one (minus three) na ako after a few seconds.

The Bottom Line
Coworkers are also teammates. If you need some extra backup, then let them know.

In Detail
At work, you have to remind yourself that not everything is resting completely on your shoulders — stop putting so much pressure on yourself, because no one else is. Coworkers are there for a reason. They’re not only there to do their job, but to fulfill their roles in the team. So if you need them to step it up a bit, then you should feel free to ask them to. Just do it face-to-face. An email won’t convey the right tone, and could ruffle their feathers.

The Clash of Franchise Reality Shows

After watching the very first studio performance episode of ‘Pinoy Idol’ (PI), I commented out on someone’s blog about the neon logo thing on the front side of the judges’ table. We, the blog author and I, agreed that the thing was annoying. It was very bright on the TV screen that you can hardly see the Pinoy Idol logo. What makes me smile, after a week, the neon logo thing was replaced by an LCD screen showing the title card (the animated logo) of the show. :) Maybe the staff and producers of the show also noticed that glitch or their researchers are great that they found out blogs like the ones where I posted my comment. Okay, I don’t want to comment more about their studio. All I can say, sana naman nilubos na nila ang pang-pa-pirate ng show from Philippine Idol.

I thought ‘Pinoy Dream Academy’ (PDA) is very late but now I think the two shows will have their own finale at the same time, haha, or a week after one had. I was wondering also, did they really carried over the stage design of ‘Pinoy Big Brother Teen Edition Plus: The Big Night’ and they (the management) liked it or they just want the viewers a peek of the stage design of the PDA Concert Hall that’s why they made the PBB Big Night stage that way? Whatever the reason, PDA Concert Hall, is far better than PI’s performance theater. I remember when we were wandering around SM Mall of Asia last time, we encountered PI there so I may conclude that the performances shown at prime time is not live compared to PDA and American Idol. Ok, I don’t want to post more about my unlikeness to PI , but I still watch both shows since their time slots are not in conflict.

Another reason I posted this topic because GMA has now acquired a franchise of Survivor and renamed here as ‘Survivor Philippines’ hosted by no other than, guess who, Paolo Bediones.

If ABS-CBN has Kris Aquino as their game show host, GMA has Paolo Bediones. :D

Surprisingly after Survivor Philippines’ teaser has been shown to the public, they were rumors that ABS-CBN also acquired another reality show from Endemol, ‘Fear Factor’ (FF). Well, it is confirmed and starting last month, ABS-CBN has been showing their own teaser for FF dubbed as ‘Pinoy Fear Factor in South America’ (PFFSA). I encountered in most forums that they prefer ‘The Amazing Race’ than FF. :D Anyway, I am wondering because I think ABS-CBN’s format of Fear Factor has the same concept as Survivor. PFFSA’s teaser says that the players will stay somewhere in a foreign land, which is in South America, for a month, which is some how like Survivor for 39 days (not sure of this since I don’t watch Survivor). :D

We’ll just wait for the premier of there shows.

Bowling Night

Last June 27, some of my batchmates from work decided to play bowling. :D I got excited because I it would going to be fun since there were many of us. And I got even more excited after reminiscing my PE class, duckpin bowling, which is way different from this bowling.

Some of us were also liked the shoes provided. Where can we buy a pair of those? Just joking. :D

Since we were 16 of us were playing, we occupied two lanes and then we started to group each other.

Ok, I admit it! I got six zero’s in a row. How cool is that?! :( On my seventh turn, I got a strike! At last, I got a score. :D I got the lowest score among us that night. But still, my group got the total highest score. kudos to my groupmates, except me, haha. :D

I think I should practice more. :)
